Will I lose my SEO rankings during the redesign?
No — and we say that having shipped 200+ redesigns with zero rankings lost. The technique is unglamorous: full audit of current pages, 1:1 redirect mapping (every old URL gets a 301 to its new home), schema preservation, Search Console resubmission on launch day. Most agencies skip these steps because they're tedious. We don't.
Can you keep my existing content?
Yes — content migration is part of every project. We move every page, post, image, and file over to the new site with meta titles, descriptions, and schema markup preserved. If some pages need rewriting, the Copy Refresh add-on handles that ($150/page). Otherwise content stays as-is.
What if my site is on Squarespace / Wix / Webflow?
No problem — platform migration is a $499 add-on. We move content, images, blog posts, and customer data to WordPress, set up 1:1 SEO redirects, and decommission the old subscription. Migration usually saves clients $400 – $2,000/year in platform fees.
How much downtime is there during launch?
Zero. We build the new site on a staging subdomain, test 30+ scenarios, then flip DNS during a low-traffic window — typically takes 5 – 60 minutes to propagate globally and visitors hit either the old or new site during that window. No visible "down" page.
What happens to my old URLs?
Two options for each: keep the same URL (most pages — no redirect needed) or 301-redirect to a new URL. We build a redirect map page-by-page and configure them at the server level. Old URLs continue to work. Backlinks keep working. Bookmarks keep working.
Can I see designs before committing to the full project?
Not free-form, but we offer a $499 design preview that delivers homepage + one inner page in 7 days. If you proceed with the full redesign, the $499 is credited against the project price. Most clients don't need this — the brief + audit gives us enough to design with confidence.
