What makes this "custom" — what's different from a template build?
Every screen drawn from a blank canvas, every line of code written for your project specifically. No themes, no page builders, no pre-built blocks. The visual design is unique to you. The code is hand-written for performance, not assembled from a marketplace. That's the only kind of work we ship.
Can I edit the site myself after launch?
Yes — we build on WordPress so all content (pages, blog posts, products, images, navigation) is editable from a familiar admin panel. Every project includes a 90-minute CMS training session and a written walkthrough document. Most clients are confidently editing within a day.
What if I don't like the design?
Every project includes two design revision rounds (three on Premium tier). We don't move to development until you sign off on the visuals. In seven years we've never had a project fail to converge by round two. The brief is detailed enough that we usually hit the target on round one.
Do you write the content too?
Not by default — we integrate your existing content. If you'd like us to write it, the Copywriting add-on is $200/page and includes SEO research, brand-voice alignment, and 1 revision per page. Or send raw notes and we'll structure them into web copy as part of integration.
Does the price include hosting?
No — hosting is separate (you own the relationship with the host). We recommend specific providers and can handle the full setup as the Hosting Setup & Migration add-on for $199. Recommended hosts run $20 – $60/month depending on traffic.
What if I need changes after the 30-day support window?
After 30 days, ongoing changes are billed at $100/hour for small edits, or $200/month on a Care plan that covers hosting management, security, updates, backups, and small edits. Most clients move to a Care plan — it's the easiest way to keep the site maintained without thinking about it.
