About this service.

Six questions clients ask before commissioning a technical rebuild. Direct answers.

Do you change the design at all?
No — the visual design stays exactly the same. We re-engineer everything underneath: the HTML structure may change slightly to improve crawlability, images get swapped for optimized versions, but visitors won't see anything different except the site loading much faster. If you want a visual refresh too, that's the Redesign service (different scope, different price).
How long until I see ranking improvements?
Speed improvements are immediate (day of launch). Ranking improvements typically appear in 30 – 90 days as Google recrawls and reprocesses the site. Some sites see rankings move in the first 14 days; others take a full quarter for the schema work to compound. The 30-day monitoring period covers most of the meaningful movement.
Will this work if my hosting is slow?
Partly — we can typically get a 30 – 50% improvement even on slow hosting through caching, image optimization, and code work. But the last 20% requires decent hosting. If your hosting is the bottleneck, we'll tell you in the audit and recommend a migration (separate add-on at $299, zero downtime).
Does this work on Shopify / Wix / Squarespace?
Limited — those platforms control most of the technical layer. We can do some image optimization, schema injection via custom code blocks, and Core Web Vitals work, but we can't touch hosting or caching. For non-WordPress platforms we usually recommend a migration to WordPress instead — that's where this service has the most impact.
What if I already have an SEO agency?
We work alongside them — many of our clients have separate SEO retainers for content and link-building. This service handles the technical foundation those teams sit on top of. We share the audit and before/after reports with your SEO agency so they can build on the new baseline.
Do you guarantee specific PageSpeed scores?
For Speed Pass and Full Rebuild tiers: 90+ on mobile PageSpeed for the homepage, post-rebuild. If we don't hit it, we keep working until we do — at no extra cost. We've hit this target on every rebuild for the last 18 months. The audit lets us screen out the rare case where hosting or platform limits prevent it before we quote.
