The studio behind 500+ custom WordPress sites. Seven years building, three cities operating, twenty-five countries shipped. We exist because ambitious businesses deserve better than templates and theme-store filler.
The Story
How WordPress Baba got started.
In 2019, founder Mohammad Yusuf was running freelance dev work between Sydney and Dhaka — and getting hired for the same job over and over: fix a broken WordPress site. Theme-store templates butchered by drag-and-drop builders. Sites that loaded in 8 seconds and ranked nowhere.
The pattern was so predictable, he started turning down work that wasn't a rebuild. Then he started turning down rebuilds and proposing complete custom builds instead. By the end of 2019, "fix-it-up" was off the table and WordPress Baba existed as an agency with one rule: everything custom, nothing templated.
Seven years later — three cities, six full-time staff, a network of trusted specialists — the rule hasn't changed. Every site we ship is the site we'd want for our own business.

About the studio.

How big is the team?
Twelve total across Sydney, Austin, and Dhaka — four design + strategy, six engineering, two account / project leads. Plus a network of trusted specialists (copy, photography, content) we bring in per project.
Where are you actually based?
Sydney is the design HQ (Parramatta). Austin runs North American operations and account work. Dhaka is the engineering and QA hub. Founder Mohammad Yusuf splits time across all three.
Do you outsource any of the work?
Core design, development, and SEO are 100% in-house. We do bring in trusted specialists for copywriting, photography, video, and illustration when a project calls for it — but never the build itself.
What makes you different from other WordPress agencies?
Three things: every site is custom-coded (no themes, no page builders), every quote is fixed-price (no scope creep), and we turn down 40% of inquiries. The work we accept is work we know we can ship at our standard.
Do you accept agency / white-label work?
Yes — about 20% of our pipeline is white-label work for marketing agencies, brand studios, and freelance designers. NDA standard, your branding on everything, your client never knows we exist.
Can we meet in person?
In Sydney or Austin, yes — we host kickoff meetings and project reviews at both studios. Dhaka is operations-only and not client-facing. Most clients work with us fully remote regardless of location.
